T-Mobile CEO John Legere shares his feelings on a recent news story regarding statements made by the CEO of parent company Deutsche Telekom.
Yesterday we told you that Tim Hoettges, CEO of T-Mobile US parent company Deutsche Telekom, had expressed some concern over the carrier’s long-term ability to continue its aggressive “Un-Carrier” promotions and competitive pricing without a merger partner. Judging by reactions of T-Mobile US CEO John Legere, he’s not exactly thrilled with the way this story is playing out in the media.
On Twitter this morning, Legere has not been responding very well to people who bring up the story.
When asked by one person what he thought of this Ars Technica story from Monday about the comments made by Hoettges, Legere — copying in the author of the piece — responded that it was… well:
The author, Jon Brodkin, subsequently replied that he’d be happy to interview Legere on the topic, but so far there’s been no public response from the CEO.
And when others have brought up a Gizmodo story on Hoettges’s statements, the MIT-educated Legere has similarly lashed out, again referring to bull excrement and attempting to zing the website by calling it… get ready… Geezermodo.
At least he’s not likening these stories to sexual assault.
